You can purchase the gadget from our company or our dealers or do it by yourself (in this case you need to make sure that the device you want to purchase is included in the list of those supported by the “Geostron” system).
Trackers can be of different types: personal, transport, other purposes. Personal trackers are usually used to control the moving of people, animals etc. they are carried in bags, clothes pockets, on hands, hung on the neck. Transport trackers are usually installed in vehicles in specified places and plugged in to different systems of the vehicle. This allows transferring not only the coordinate data to the server but also the information about the condition of the vehicle.

2 Registering in the system

When buying the gadget from our company it will automatically register in the “Geostron” system. If you purchase it on your own then it is necessary to provide the information about the device (its model and unique number IMEI). Make an

3 Defining the type of the mobile communication operator

To maintain the gadget it is necessary to connect to an operator of mobile communication. The defining factor in choosing the tariff plan is the price of GPRS traffic. This channel is used to transfer data from the device to the server.
On average the traffic takes 30—40 Mb a month. Maximum working regime — 90 Mb.
Besides you should take into the account the supposed geography of the use of the device and the working conditions of the operators of mobile communication in the region. (recommended 3G quality, price, additional services, cover zone etc).
Choose the tariff with pre-paid volume of traffic. At the moment mobile communication operators approximate traffic volume per session up to 100 Kb. Maximum information transferred to the server is 100b, after which the session is closed. The operator will automatically turn it to 100Kb and you will incur unplanned expenses. Be careful!
Link up to the chosen tariff plan and get a working sim card.

4 Adjusting the device

ДTo put the device into operation it is necessary to make inner data adjustment. The device is loaded with data of server, mobile operator parameters, other personal data necessary for correct functioning. The adjustment can be produced by the specialist from our company or you can do it on your own (in accordance with the detailed manual with the help of a personal computer).

5 Setting up the sim-card into the device

Fit the sim-card in the gadget (the schemes are available in the user’s manual). Te device must be switched off. After the installation switch on the device and check its working capacity (you can see it on the state of the device’s indicators – see user’s manual).

If you purchase the gadget for your vehicle it is necessary to set it up. The installation must be carried out by qualified specialists. If you wish to carry out the installation on your own be aware of the risk of damaging car electro chains. If you install the device on your own our company is not responsible for possible consequences.

6 Establishing the software on your personal computer (laptop)

To carry out the monitoring special software GEOSTRON need to be established on your personal computer (laptop). A CD with software is supplied with the whole set, or otherwise the software can be downloaded from our site.

7 Filling up the balance

To start working in the system you need to connect the server and request the data.
For this purpose press the button of connection with the server and enter your personal data.

After the check-out you will see a message that the registration was successful and you are able to start working.

When connecting you up the system checks the balance in the GEOSTRON system. If the balance is positive you will get access to the service. To make user’s payment is possible through bank transfer or with the help of electronic payment. List of terminals QUickPay in Russia.
